Following the very successful Conference in January at the LMA, this 2nd London Conference on aspects of the history of the London Labour Party and labour movement history will focus on:

Andrew Prescott is Professor at the Centre for Research into Freemasonry at Sheffield University. Paul Martin is author of The Trade Union Badge (Ashgate, 2002), and a tutor in public history at Ruskin College. Duncan Hall is author of A pleasant change from politics: Music and the British labour movement between the wars (New Clarion Press, 2001). Heidi Topman is author of a history of Wimbledon's Labour Hall, and is undertaking postgraduate research on Labour Halls in Greater London. Sean Creighton researches various aspects of the history of mutual working class organisations and works on present day regeneration issues.
