The Toni Swanger Collection consists primarily of audio tapes, scripts, tear sheets, drafts, notes and interviews for her radio commentaries and Metro Times articles and newspaper clippings, magazine articles, correspondence, advocacy group literature and other material related to her research, writing and speaking about women's issues.

The David S. Burgess Collection consists of correspondence, reports, speeches, published and unpublished articles and other material related to Mr. Burgess's careers in the ministry, the labor movement and the U.S. Foreign Service and UNICEF in Asia.

Judge Keith's career, his precedent-setting judicial decisions and the many honors and awards bestowed upon him for his dedication to the city of Detroit and his pioneering role in ensuring equal justice for all Americans.

The Sidney Rosen Collection documents his involvement in fundraising for civil rights and civil liberties causes as well as his work for the Progressive Party of Michigan.

The bulk of the Chris and Marti Alston papers document their experiences as community activists in the redevelopment of the Forest Park urban renewal area. To a lesser extent, the collection documents the Alstons' involvement in various social justice and human rights causes.
11 MBs, 1973-1979, worked in California Bay Area as a freelance reporter covering UFW's elections under the NLRB in 1976. Lots of material on Teamsters; lots of interviews with UFW organizers, union members, Teamsters and growers. The major subject covered in this collection is California's Agricultural Labor Relations Board.
